I've got a HJC modular that I rode for about 4 months before I picked up my Shoei. If you want to pick up the postage to give it a try it's yours.

I use a Shoei multitec and I think it's the best I've had so far.

Tried several but settled on the Schuberth C3Pro. Expensive but lightyears ahead of others in subjective quality, quietness and ventilation. Very comfortable. After 3000+ miles I can honestly say I forget the thing is on! The pin lock "no fog" visor is amazing. Our climate is humid, and I never have problems with visor fogging regardless of conditions.

Another vote for the Harley branded modular. Works great on longer trips, and in colder weather. I wore it lat winter down to around 20 degrees.

I have the HJC CL Max 2, and love it. It's modular. Got it at Revzilla.

I've worn a Fulmer the last couple of years. Comfortable and modestly priced.

Thanks for all the input. Working with revzilla and will be trying lazer Monaco pure carbon. Got it for a great prize. Great high end features and very lightweight.

Used a Schuberth C3 Pro modular for the cooler and inclement weather on a recent NC - CA trip. Very quiet and comfortable for me. A bit pricey, but I wanted something very quiet. The optional integrated headset was good and paired with my iPhone.
