Battery Tender Junior at approximately $20 will work perfectly. Been using one for years.

Take a look at the "battery minder." Has some kinda de-sulphating thing going on. Had one on my original battery and got 7 plus years out of it. Didnt start using it till third year, so who knows what might of happened if i had started from day one.

I have had the best luck with a Yuasa brand tender. I have two of them and one of them is 15 years old and still going strong. I had a Battery Tender Jr that went bad after 2 years. I also have a Harley Davidson brand tender that is 9 years old and still going strong.

It is like everything else. You get what you pay for. I would read the features of each one and decide. The de-sulfate thing has already been mentioned above...that's what kills batteries. I have 3 of the one linked to below. Still running original battery on my 08. All is good. If my bike is in the garage, the battery is on the tender.

I use the Deltran Battery Tender dual station for my 2 bikes. The local hardware store has it for $60.

I use the Battery Tender Jr. I have had it 12 years now. I just plug the bike in for the winter. Three Harleys in that time and have never bought a battery.

is it for a lead acid/lead acid maintenance free, AGM, or Gel Cell?
I would look at the current and rate for the battery I have to make a choice.
