hi, i was thinking about doing a 107 on my 2014 SGS,i will do the work myself except tune, cost around 2300.00 ,or spend it on biketronics amp &speakers, led lighting ,solo seat etc, i know its my decision but little advice nver hurt, thanks

2300 is not going to go far. You do realize that your going to need to purchase high flow pipes, high flow mufflers, air cleaner, cams and a tuner to do that 107 kit. Then your going to have to have it dyno tuned.
Well I did both upgrades this year. For me, the motor work is what I get fired up about when I take the bike out. The engine sound and the difference of the overall riding experience is more bang for the buck than a louder radio.
i already have the high flow air cleaner and power duals ,2300 will do it easy,i am doing all the work except tune,i have all the parts priced out plus the tuner
Have you built reliable motors in the past? Do ya have all the right tools to do the job? There is a major difference between putting parts together and building a reliable high output motor. I've got 45K miles on my 107 with 121/132. Not a project that I think I could build myself but only by a very experienced professional. That car tire isn't on the bike just for looks.
