I even think this is the correct grip method for riding. If that helps.
This is what my mechanic keeps telling me. I agree, to a point. Out on the open road, I'm good with the light pressure thing. But every now and then you find yourself on a gravel road or someplace where you want to hold on, and I tend to prefer the smaller diameter.

I just put a set of these on my '12 Road King. I have small hands and these feel smaller than the ones on my wife's bike, only 1.4" diameter. http://avongrips.com/shop/products/C...r-Chrome-.html
Thanks for the reminders on the Avons. Looks like 1.45" is the smallest O.D. they offer on fly-by-wire grips. I had Avon's on a previous bike and liked them a lot. Probably going to wind up with them again.

I thought about these, but they were too small for me. They are contoured, and kind of fit in your palm. They are pretty short as well. http://avongrips.com/shop/products/A...me-Rubber.html

The new Ultra Low I sat on seemed to have very small grips. Probably is a special handlebar also.

I have normal size hands, and I put on Rolland Sands grips on my bike, I did it because my right hand went numb sometimes, they are every bit as small as the stockers, though I had to sand the inside of the grips to make them fit my bars, because they were tight.

Very interesting. I just looked through all the grips in the moco catalog and they are all either 1.5 or 1.6 in diameter. I have not seen anything that indicates a smaller grip. Sometimes they don't offer those kinds of things immediately but it would be neat if that were the case and they could be ordered for other models.

That would make sense, for the ltd low as the target is smaller riders. Hence the lower suspension and reach seat that is lower and more forward.
