Actually oil is a cooling agent as well as used for lubrication. So I guess it is tri cooled.

I guess the answer to the OP is they came out with a twin cooled Street Glide in 2006.

Gotta have the lowers for SPEAKERS!!!

Was gonna buy a limited when the 14's first came out, but when I saw the wee radiators and computer tower style fans, went with the SGS

I too, was hoping for a truly water cooled motor, not just the exhaust area. I guess it's baby steps for the MOCO.

Looking forward to see how the motors evolve in the next few years. Will be keeping this one for a while.

I'm older that that - welcome Luddite! If you haven't read the patent (surely a compulsory bedtime read?!) you won't see what a clever solution they have come up with. Half-azzed it ain't. But then I am an engineer.......
