+8" should do the trick.

I did +8 for 14" bars so I would prob try going 10 or 11". Mount the bars, then take a measurement from the clutch hub going into the tranny following a nice curve all the way up to the grip. Move the bars back and forth making sure it doesn't get too tight. Hill Country Customs have a good quality product. I would call them and give them the measurement. Minus the stock length from the new measurement and you'll know how much more cable you need. I'm still thinking 10-11" should do it but, the bars you use make a big diff.

16" apes on my 2014, did stock +8 on clutch. New Brake line (ABS) was 2 sections with connection inside light housing.

+12! I put 16's on my King with a +10 and its "good" when handlebars are turned completely....I would do +12, JMO.

Good luck

I just did 16" apes on my 2014 RK I went with a plus 10, I have enough cable to go 18s if I want. I went with HD Diamondbacks. plus 10 would be good for 18s.

Question for all of you, are you using the P clamp on the fork to secure the cable? My cable lays much better without it, Just curious what others are doing with it.

Depends on how you route it. I have done 18s. If you go the stock method, you can get by with +8. I like to run mine down the frame and under so I will usually do +12.
