Is anyone running the smoked lens BAL light. I saw a video at night and it looks bright. How's the visibility during the day with it as a running light. Thanks be safe.

 

I use a red bal.

the bal can be set to be MUCH brighter than a normal running light and the brake can be MUCH brighter than a normal brake light- add to that the eye catching flash patterns if desired.

so the smoked will be much brighter than any std taillight any time of day or night. ( or can be reset to DOT standard by moving a magnet near the light)

i like the bal and having been rear-ended...hope that it prevents the next one.
the cost of a new one put me off, I watched the classifieds until I found a deal on a take-off.

I use the 4-LED smoke BAL-1S. I have it set at the brightest level and to flash on braking. Everyone I ride with say it's very visible day or night. My buddy has the 12-LED red. It's blinding, I hate to be behind him!
