Default Long Ride Shield 7" Dark Tint

Well my quest for finding a windshield is over. Ive tried the 3 different sized Harley Davidson demo shields with recurve and none really grabbed me. I was either looking through plastic or getting hit right in the eyes by deflected air.

I tried a few other brands, but cant remember the make or size. I recently came across a thread about the LRS and I contacted them to see if they had any blemished 7" and they had one left. I ordered that late last week and it arrived yesterday.

Rode into work today and couldn't be happier. Still get to look over the top, not through the plastic, and the wind is deflected over my head, leaving a nice turbulence free ride that stil retains the sleek looks of the street glide.

Thank you James from LRS for a great product, fast shipping and fast informative customer service.

Very happy customer who highly recommends doing business with LRS.

I have a LRS myself and love it. I bet the dark tint is really dark. I have the light tint, and it is tough to see through at night.

I have two dark LRS shields, 10 and 8.

No issues at night whatsoever.

I have 3 LRS shields and am finally happy with the X-stream with dark tint. Including the stock one, I now have 5 different windshields in my basement... that I don't use...

Anyway, they were a great company to deal with and offer quality products.

Very pleased with my lrs 9" medium tint also. I'm 6'1" and see perfectly over it, but do look through it at times around turns and such. Isn't the dark tint difficult to see through at night if u need to look through it?

+1 on the light tint being to dark to see through properly at night. Maybe if you only ride on well lit city streets, the light tint would be fine. But out on country roads with no street lights, clear is the only way to go.

I have the 7" med tint and really liked it on our 1500 ml trip thru NY. except at night. really hard to see thru. but wind protection over my 8" windsplitter was better.
