All of the good ones are black! The rest not so much.

 

I'd say atleast 50% are black. I think black bikes look great when standing tall ( clean, polished, and waxed) but there are so many that they kinda get lost in the crowd.

 

100% of mine is black.

 

My 99 RK is black as well, with reddish ghost flames!

 

Let the wife pick the color, and she picked black. Personally I would have preferred a red one but then I would have had the same bike as her dad........... really wanted big blue pearl but they didn't have it in 2013 and I didn't want to wait and see if that changed in 2014. oh well.

 

Right now there are 210 responses - that means the margin of error is only 6.6%. Statistically, the most it could be (at least amongst HDF Touring readers) is 46.6%. That number does surprise me - I figured over half no sweat.

 

I would have paid extra for black.

It's faster. [but the 120R helps a little...]

 

I've always had black cars , trucks and bikes but when standing still women will walk past my bike to see my buds purple '97 RK . It is just different enough to make it stand out.
