I have a 14 limited, and I do change my bike into what I want. When I want a full dressed ultra, I leave it as I bought it. When I want to ride a bagger without a tour pac and tall windshield and fat seat I detach it, swap the shield and seat. "I change it into what I like."

I am not turning it into a SG, I said sort of, The changes I like and made are making it sort of like a Street Glide. I still like my front fender better than a SG and I would not have a bike without passing lights or I would have bought a Street Glide. Don't you ever want to change things up a bit instead of buying a new bike?

Metamorphosis Street Glide to Ultra (but only sometimes)
Here in the UK neither the Ultra or the Limited have truly detachable Tour Paks, essentially because the turn signals that HD brought out (that are stuck to the rear of the saddlebags) are not available in amber (required by law in the UK). As I want saddlebag rails too, with slotted chrome filler strips, Custom Dynamics turn signals won' fit either.
Hence I have a Street Glide with a detachable Tour Pak and all the bells and whistles that the Utra has and more (CB radio, heated grips).
I have just purchased the Ultra front and back fenders and turn signal LED inserts from CD. This retains the LED turn signals that I had on the SG. In the UK the brake and turn signal lights come in an interated package.
