Default Started my apes

Getting rid of the heritage bars and going with 18's. Going to swap the forks out to black and swap out the cowbells too. Waiting on my throttle and brake cables

Nice! I added 16's to my '00 King and everyone advised on the plug-and-play wiring extensions but I decided to solder them, ad heat shrink tubing to each wire and then shrink wrap the whole thing. Some would call it overkill, but after reading several posts on wiring issues due to wires coming loose during the "pull thru" the handlebars method, I played it safe. Enjoy the install (I did), its looking great! Subscribed.

Best regards

Im in Paris. And we are going the soldering way too. Nothing like getting everything ran thru the bars and then having something come loose... Cables wont be here til next week so hopefully itll be back together by next weekend.

looking good so far, I am in the middle of an ape install as well. Started mine last night, 16" CycleSmiths on my SG. I plan to solder as well, don't want to chance it.

I took off a set of heated grips. Still needing to pull the tank so we can run the brake line.
