I want to start doing some long haul touring, but im hesitant to try since my bike apparently can't travel more than 2000 miles without something breaking.

That's easy - just plan to visit every dealer along the route........

Mines only got 25k on it. Bought it less than a year ago with 19k on the odometer

It spent 3 months in the shop due to being rear ended. And ive had to replace the battery, kickstand, grips, speakers, antenna, voltage regulator, and engine temp sensor. Also had to make several return visits for additional accident related work due to extreme incompetence by the dealers service techs.

Alot of it I chalk up to simple age,and the previous owner not taking care of things, but it makes me very nervous to take long trips.

I put my bike and life on hold 43 months ago - moved a guy 30 day under 100 years old in the house. Winter mods will be done. Road Trip plans? Scuba Diving Vacations planned?

One day - **** in the Atlantic and take a slow road West. Save, Plan and Dream....Just
make Dreams come true and Respect People along the way.
