Not looking to get flamed but could you possibly have installed the batteries backwards (upside down). Also, put a Volt meter on the batteries and make sure you have 3 Volts.

Electronic devices typically don't like the negative and positive reversed. It's quite possible you ruined both FOB's by putting the batteries in backwards.

Keep one Fob in the house. I had both fobs with me & the bike would not start. I retuned one to the house & moved my bike a few feet & it started. There is a section in the manual about electrical type problems from , say power lines etc. Good luck. Hey, let's know what solved the problem.

Are you sure they are the same battery? A 2025 and 2032 are very close in size. But the 2025 is a little thinner if I recall.

Flip the battery over, they are probably upside down

Last ride we took as a group one fella had replaced batteries and had to hold the fob against the radio to make work, had the wrong batteries in his. There is a series of those style batteries, incorrect in 1.5v and the correct units at 3v, he had purchased the wrong voltage type.

You might also trying reprogramming the FOB's to the bike. I think you have to have the FOB close to the bike and turn the key to the start position and then shut the bike off just after the security system arms. Its worth a try.
