Default Fabric Crash Bar Shields

Looking to make my Road King warmer for the winter. Does anyone have a list of folks that make fabric (snap on, etc) shields that mount to the OEM crash bar? I see Kury has one, I'm sure there are more. Can some one give me names so I can google them?

I bought some for my Heritage from these folks. Had them two seasons now and they are holding up great.

I have them for my road king - they work great. Easy on and off too.

I use Desert Dawgs. All brands are easy on, easy off, just that some take 1 minute, some take 2 minutes. Mine are vinyl as they are wet a lot of the winter and hold up better than leather. They are 5 years old and still look great. I wipe them off occasionally with a damp cloth to remove the road grime. Mine have a buckle, some snaps and a piece of velcro for the bottom.

It don't think it matters a whole lot which brand as long as they are easy on, easy off and stay put when installed. I'll buy Desert Dawgs again, but that is only because the work for me and if it ain't broke, I don't try and fix it.

I got the Chilhowee leather lowers. Functionally I doubt there is much difference from one brand to the next. I thought this brand looked like they belonged on a Harley.

Now I understand why HD says to use the soft lowers only below 50 degrees. That big earmuff flap blocks a lot of air. The Desert Dawgs don't have that and I think they are wider so they actually direct air to the cylinders/heads...

Mine direct the wind along the engine. They block the wind and rain for my feet and they push the air along and over the motor. I do not get the Harley hot spot under my right thigh when moving. I think they act a lot like the Harley rigid lowers with the vents partially open in that aspect. They are shaped like a shallow funnel because of the shape of the stock hwy bars.

I have the Chillhowee Leather chaps on my Deluxe. They are of high quality and Chillhowee will make them to your liking. They work really well to keep the cold air off of your feet and lower legs. They also block turbulance of air from below. About a hundred bucks but worth the money to me.
