I have a 2/1 on my FXR since 1990.
As the motor build has changed, the pipe has been retuned to match.
Slip on supermegs on my '95 FLHTC, tuned for that motor- when I bought the 09 I moved the pipes onto it...and re-tuned.
For fun, I got a set of S/E fatshots cheap and put them on. They are very similar and I have tuned these for my 96".
They work good, I control the sound, I control where the torque and HP are.
One drawback to the S/E version is that the baffles are often installed a few degrees of rotation off from center- I notice it and it bugs me...it's a visual thing

I have the SuperTrapp Fatshots I puchased form Fuelmoto in 2012 for my Limited along with their Stainless 2-1-2 headpipe. I have the closed ends installed along with the open ends for looks. There are 19 disks on the left and 20 on the right. With the 255 cams and the tuner pouring on the fuel it runs pretty darn good for a big ol' bike.
I likes them.

Wonder how these compare to the one's Fuel Moto has out. Do the disks ever plug up with carbon I wonder?
Really like the idea of being able to adjust the sound level, my stockers are even getting to loud with only 7k on them and only going to get worse. I do not have the cat so they are much louder. My ringing ears are getting worse and a good day ride is getting to much anymore. If it wasn't for the heat I would go back stock but still have the tuner and AC.
