Default Can I run a 140 rear tire on my 2003 FLHTCI?

I can't find the Michelin Commander 2 130/90-16's anywhere, but it looks like a may be able to find a 140/90-16. Can I run this larger tire without any modifications?

I didn't mod mine, but you must pay real good attention on getting the wheel perfectly straight or the belt will rub the tire. It will rub the tire when you back up sometimes, but that won't hurt anything.

I have a MU85 on my 2002. It's like a 145, I did trim the belt guard.

Can you? Yup! That became the stock rear size (well MU85 did, which is close at 140/85) not long after your bike was built.
