Default Passing lights quit

My passing lights have quit working. No indicator light on the switch. Cigarette lighter and speedo still work, which are on the same circuit, but I checked fuses anyway and they are good. Any ideas where to look first?

Switch might've gone bad...did you check power to the switch?

Just noticed it yesterday while at the Lone Star Rally. I figured it was just a fuse until I went to change it out. The switch is typically illuminated but it's not now, so I doubt it's the bulbs. I haven't had time yet to put a meter on it, but I will after work. I'm fixing to replace them with reflector LED's anyway

Make sure your high beams are not on.

Good point, I didn't check that but I don't recall a high beam indicator on my ride to work today.

I like the look of those hi-beams, I would like to check them for proper adjustment and give them a quick wash and wax..

don't bother checking the bulbs- if no light at the switch, then it isn;t getting power.

high beam switch first ( unless modded- in which case check your mod)...

then work backwards

I don;t have a wiring diagram for your year, but the fender tip light may be on the same fused circuit- that wire can rub through on the fender
