Last winter, Tour Glide, with frame mount fairing. Made an 8' ramp to get it up two steps from the garage into the kitchen, was easy to roll to the living room from there. Had to remove the fairing, and took off all the crash bars, gas tank, seat, floorboards muffler, battery and a few brackets to reduce the weight; I wasn't going to try and push 800 lbs up a ramp by myself. Was also doing a wall mod in the house, and left some drywall off, was handy for hanging parts. Biggest plus for the project was no women living in the house...
Edit: I don't bring gasoline in the house, rest of it shouldn't be a problem... as long as the floor is strong.
When I had a crotch rocket I could just ride it up and down the steep hill into my walkout basement for the winter. That was great. I am worried about the fender scraping on the incline so I have never tried with my street glide. I loved having my bike inside for the winter, oh well.
dealership storage is always an option if you want it in a heated, secure space.
The dealer in buffalo, according to my buddy, is doing a deal this year, $200 or $250, can't remember for sure, for the whole winter and then when you take it out of storage you get it all back on a gift card for the store. So basically free. I'd do it if I didn't have a mile long list of work I want to get done before its riding season again.
