Gerbing Insoles

I have the Gerbings soles. Mine work fine. At the time I purchased mine, the socks were having issues, so I went soles. Pita is running wire down legs. I have the dual variable controller for the gloves and jacket liner and use an off on for the boot soles. Mine live in my winter boots. I have only used them about 4 or 5 times, as on a trip to Winthrop, I picked up a pair of black neoprene boots. With the liner pumping heat into my body, and the neoprene boots insulating my feet and the use of lowers on the hwy bars, I just don't use them anymore. I call my boots muck boots as they were designed for dairy farmers, but my boots are actually Bogs 7mm Neoprene Classic Ultra High (15"). They have a nifty handle on the boots and you better not wear them when it is above 45F. They are WARM and dry.

The wires are a PIA but no more than the socks.

Yes, the wires are very bit as much as a pita as they were running them down the arms. I purchased the heated jacket liner for that reason and found out that I should have done that at the beginning as the gloves and liner work together for total comfort.
That said, I do not need the heated pants. Even further, the wires down the pants to either socks or soles is a pita...until you need them. Then warm toes make the effort oh so worthwhile. I do not need them asoften now as I use Bogs neoprene boots now until it gets well below freezing, but when heat matters, running the wires is a small price to pay for toasty toes. It seemed more of a pita to run the wires down your arms than down the legs. Perhaps that is because I remove my jacket more often than my pants!
