I wrote that from mobile last night, so it was short on details, my bad.
I traded in my 2014 Softball Slim (mysterious red). I had bought it when they were offering full value trade in if I upgraded to a 2015 model within a year. So last night I went in to talk to them about it and see what kind of cash I'd have to add to keep my payment the same. They mae the umbers work, so I signed the papers.
I purchased a Morocco Gold 2015 Road King. Stock aside from adding the security fob, as I hated not having it on my Slim. They had two RKs in stock, one the red/black two tone, the other the green/black two tone. I considered the green/black two tone, but I really love the Morocco Gold, plus I think it will be a bit more rare than the other colors. Also should show dirt less.
They have to arrange a swap, so they said it should be next week, maybe the weekend at the latest. Once I get her I'll post some more pics.
I don't plan on doing too many mods to her, aside from exhaust, some windshield pouches, and leather bag to go on the back seat (which means I'll probably need a sissy bar as well).

In case anyone was wondering what prompted the trade in, I'm doing a rather long California/Oregon ride this summer. Currently it is 1800+ miles. By the time I added saddlebags and a windshield and some way to hold a travel bag to my Slim, I probably would have spent close to what I did to just trade up to a touring bike. Hence the trade-in.
That said, I love the slim, and would love to keep it for running around town, but alas I'm not in that financial position yet.
I'll be posting a separate thread later about the Cali/Oregon trip, as I need to start gathering things I will need and want to get some input from other riders as this will be my first extended trip like that on a motorcycle.
