Man do you have good luck finding strange issues; I guess in that price range you are going to find some questionable bikes. Go find a nice one owner bike of Craigslist from some place with a cold climate and take a friend who knows how to spot issues. Good luck

Is this the same guy that tried to sell you the "tipped over in the garage" bike? Run away.

That bike has "Curb" appeal..it looks nice...but why did the seller even mention motor work?
Then why did the seller mention 3,000 miles specifically when he is unable to verify miles?
Something wrong when stories do not match...i would walk.
Look around for another.

Keep looking, you'll find decent bike sooner or later. The key is to be patient. Those two bikes were somebody's headache they were trying to pawn off on you.

Djodrey, I don't know your financial situation. But I traded in my 09 sportster in August and got a 2014 Road King for 14k. So my payments aren't bad a month. If you have close to 9 k available, you can probably swing a new bike and start with a clean slate.

I would ask for receipts for the work done. If he can't provide them....walk away

nice bike! patience pays off - you got exactly what you were looking for. I like the EVO bikes too. I'd lose the luggage racks on your bags though
