FIAMM horn + stock cowbell
WIll the freeway blaster horn 72112 (low note) fit under a '04 rk cowbell?
Mrs Claus is shopping and absolutely hates for me to return anything.
p.s. For years the stock horn was fine, now that I've moved to a less rural area and pressed into using the f'ing idiot button recurrently I realize the stock horn shortfall. I'm not quite ready to step all the way up to Howard's.

I put a very similar sized horn under the cowbell. Very snug fit. Muffled the horn quite a bit. Not worth the effort for such a small gain in sound, IMHO. Went to an open air horn. 130 decibels. Gets their attention, but doesn't look as good. I'd rather have the performance, it's what it's there for.

Just for food for thought, the Wolo Bad Boy horn will bolt on in place of the stock horn, will plug right in, as there is a relay in line in the stock wiring...at least, there was on my 2006 FLHX. Get the Kuryakyn cover for it, you'll be good to go. Suggest you buy the horn from Pep Boys, Amazon, whatever, for about $40-50, you can get the cover by itself for $40...much cheaper than buying the horn kit with included cover. I believe the kits retail for about a buck twenty. Very loud, very happy with mine. If your bike's current horn doesn't have a relay in the positive wiring, you'll need to wire one in, but that's an easy thang.
