Default Hemet speakers?

Looked in the audio section and didn't find the info I wanted. Looking for helmet speakers that can be wired to the current J&M system. The J&M speakers just are not adequate. Not enough bass, and with the new amp, they fall apart pretty quick. I can cut the current wires on the speakers and solder new speakers in. Just want to find good speakers.

I have tried helmet speakers. Made for that purpose. Not impressed with the ones I tried. I took a good headphone set and took them apart and put them in. They aren't as flat as I'd like, but the sound is awesome. Not sure if this is what you're asking but that's what I did.

You might also want to consider ear buds.

think about ear buds- there are many designs, the better of which seal out road and wind noise and keep the music in.

I work in the pro-music world where we use earbuds for monitoring and isolation....you know, you see them on almost every singer on TV

the cost to plumb my earbuds into a stock stereo is about $15

great sounding earbuds can cost from $100 up over $1000.
Shure has a great product line with durable cable sets.
the owner need only wire to the speakers, add a 1/8" stereo jack and an inline volume control

ED's speakers. They are one of the best sounding out there and very low cost.

I have thought of that. What headphones did you use? I looked at some Bose that had a volume switch on them. The salesman told me that if I cut the switch out and wired direct the headphones wouldn't work.

Thanks

How is the bass response? The ones I have now from J&M that I got in Laughlin 3 years ago just don't have adequate bass and get fuzzy at higher volumes.

Warranty if I just don't like them????

Agree, I have had my Ed Sets for a little over a year now and have the new Thunderclap speakers and they are awesome. I can't imagine a helmet headset sounding any better. Give them a look.
