I've got 56K on the original compensator on my 2013 UL.
I've got just less than 3 months left on the 2 year warranty, so I'm going to pull it out and look at it pretty quick. If it looks worn, I'll get it replaced under warranty.
This is what one of the components on the stock compensator looked like after 57k miles on an 09 Road King. I have a 11 Limited with 41k miles and the primary case is still quiet, I think the SE compensator in the 11 might be better than the stock 09 version. I change the primary oil on the 11 every oil change which is half the miles Harley recommends I guess that helps also.
Robert, I was over at GMR yesterday picking up some tranny gaskets and Steve was hypeing up your wheels to a 2015 Streetglide owner he'd just done a dyno tune on.

Yeah, I spoke with him yesterday as well. The reality of our wheels is that they look so much nicer in person than they do in pics that it is difficult to convey the actual beauty in a photograph.
A clean set of rims makes the biggest difference aesthetically of any part on the bike in our opinion and should be considered as part of a stage 1 upgrade.
Dad had 85k on his 09 when traded in and the comp seemed fine, we never had a issue. FWIW he rides it like a old man because his is one. Always 2 up and almost always on out of the way roads, lots of shifting and slower than 70 mph speeds.Only time the bike got ran hard is when we ride together and "race" or when I take it for a ride, he likes me to run it hard and let him know how it runs and feels.
