Thanks for answering my questions. You are the first person I have seen do that. hats off for being different than the rest of us "old men".
I am one of the few that is with you on the additional height for ride quality over having it sit lower. 300 mile canyon rides are what I prefer to do and the less parts that scrape the ground on aggressive cornering, the better.
I had the red sparkle grips like that on my softail that had candy red spokes and white walls on it for a while. Most people made negative comments on them but I loved the old school look of them especially with the rest of the style of the bike being Samson fishtails, apes, foot clutch tank shift, etc. I sold that bike a while back and as everyone says, I never should have and miss it terribly.
Now I am wondering how much difference in ride quality I will have with a 140 front. I might just have to put on my wheel so see how it rides.
