Default my latest | a different take on your typical bagger

I've had a few big twins now and built them much differently in the past.
I recently had the chance to get out of a fairly new project you may have seen on here, for what I had into it & pass it off to a good friend...I went for it.
just picked up a brand new SGS and went all in...this time around tho, I built a totally different beast, all about ride-ability.

this is a pretty unique front end, running a 21x3.5" 60 spoke, but w/a 140/70 tire...the same overall rolling diameter of a 23" wheel.
I had the legs shaved & chromed, running no fender. I swapped out the painted fairing skirt for a chrome one and adapted 2" over cowbells to beef up the front end...
it's been dropped 3/4" and I'm running heavy weight fork fluid to make up for it...pairing it with a 18x5.5" and 180/55 out back, I can still lean this bike all way over without rubbing pipes or extended bags.
the ride quality has improved and pairing that with the V&H FP3 tuned rushmore, V&H no-cat true-dresser dual headers, 4" Rinehardts, and a SE aircleaner...I can't express how happy I am with this bike.

2014 Street Glide Special [vivid black]
-21x3.5" 60 spoke step lip front wheel (w/ABS bearings)
-18x5.5" 60 spoke step lip rear wheel (w/ABS bearings)

I'm still learning here, but that is a mighty nice ride.

Good twist on the build, bike looks good its nice to see something different.

How do you like your LePera seat? is it an all day seat or a tool around town seat?

Same height as stock? move you up or back any?

If you are riding two up what does your passenger think of the seat?

Thanks in advance for any feed back.

^ it's my only seat.
for the passenger, it's the best 2-up I've owned...my wife loves it.
personally not a fan of how wide the *** end is, but if she's happy I can deal with it since it's diamond stitched. looks slick none the less.
for me, it's stiff compared to the Le Pera cherokee on my electra glide...that seat is my favorite.
...but I got a killer deal on it, so I'm good with it.
didn't really move me either way...and it's no lower than a stock SG seat.

Looks good man, very sharp. Personally I never had much luck running without a front fender. Always seems to spray some water on my electrical system somewhere. Nonetheless, sweet ride.

I definitely like it. Simple, clean, and it looks like it's all kinds of fun to blast around on.

if any mods see this, can we move it to the Rushmore section? not sure how I messed that up.
