Default 2015 street glide special shocks

Need some help, back end is stiff even after adjusting all the way down and sissy bar does not fit between the shock and the mount. I attached a picture of mine. Not sure it was put on right. My buddy has the same bike and his is the other way around.

Your shocks are installed upside down.

That's what I thought too, the dealership tells me that's how it is suppose to be and that all their other street glides are that way.

On the left side of the bike, where the "adjuster" is located.
Does it look like this picture?

Tell them to look at the HD website, and they will see a picture of how they are supposed to be.

Shock, not shocks.

Your left side shock is on correctly. Your right side shock is upside down. Flip the right side shock only. I went through this exact same thing on my RGS.

You guys made me go out and look my RGS. The right shock is the same way as the OP's, and it was built the day before Thanksgiving, about 3 weeks ago. Apparently the factory is still putting them on wrong?

I'll call my dealer tomorrow and see what he says.
