I have the Custom Dynamics Moon Shinez (all white and just blink for the turn signal) and the stock halogen headlight on my 14 SGS. Had a couple of the parts guys at the HD dealer come outside and ask what lights I had because they were noticeable from the back of the dealer on a bright day. As far as helping you see they put out a lot of light but not focused so you get a little bit of light everywhere instead of a beam down the road. I just ordered a Yaffe Vison X LED headlight to get more light down the road.

You are correct - 14 & up touring do not need the equalizer (or, as CD calls theirs, stabilizer). After installing the LED clusters - run the 4 way flashers for a bit and try the turn again - should work correct.
A friend has an '11 Softail - 4 way flasher thing corrects the flashing of the actual turn signals, but the dash indicator continues to flash fast - first year of the canbus...
The Dynamic Ringz are not designed as driving lights - but they do put out a heck of a lot of light to make sure you are seen. And the Dynamic Clusters in the rear allow you to have dual intensity red run & brake and amber for turns in one cluster (requires some additional wiring, but IMHO worth the effort)
I have a couple of reviews on these & other CD products and on LED headlights at www.bogiesreviews.webs.com for those who haven't seen them.
