Leather Saddlebag Strap Repair / Fasteners?
Rear strap of my left FLHRC bag is missing one of the fasteners holding the strap attached to the lid. According to parts fiche the fasteners aren't sold separately and I'm not sure what I should be looking for. I think the fasteners are similar as in this pic, black two part and I think the top screws into the bottom part:
Any guesses where I might find those?
In case I cannot find a single fastener somewhere, I noticed Harley is selling 90439-10 Saddlebag Strap Repair Kis, does anyone know what are the contents of the kit?

They are also called chicago screws....don't know why.... but I have gotten some out of the specialty fastener boxes in Home Depot. Check McMaster Carr.... they are an industrial supply house that has thousands of fasteners....you should be able to find something there! and if they aren't black, i'm sure a little paint will change that!!!

Tandy Leather has them, even in black. I used them to repair my saddlebags on my old RKC. Several sizes to choose from their catalog: https://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/.../hardware.aspx
Hope this helps, since I don't imagine you have one of their stores where you are!
