Default My new to me 2010 Ultra Classic

Hey guys,

After riding metric bikes for many years, I gave in to all the peer pressure and bought a Harley. It's a 2010 Ultra that I picked up at a local dealer with only 11K miles on her. Apparently the bike has a stage 1 kit on it with Vance and Hines exhaust and a dealer tune.

Is there anything I should look out for as far as recalls or common issues with the bike?

Nice looking bike, congratulations. I made the switch about 9 months ago and bought a 2009 street glide & love it. Enjoy!

Nice looking bike. I'm looking to make the switch from Kawasaki to a Harley in the next month or so.

Congrats on the new ride. A number of the 2010's had a recall from the rear brake switch. You may want to ask the dealer if there is still an open recall for ur ride.

What Kawasaki do you ride? I just came off a Voyager 1700 which I loved but couldn't get past the lack of low end grunt.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll ask them to check it out.

You can look up your bike for recall information with your ID number too. I think there has been at least two, including one for something to do with the fuel tank, maybe the mounting, which I never did. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/568/52...torcycles.aspx
