Default Solo Detach Tour Pack Setup 2009 And Newer

HD accessory book says locking detach lock will not work on the solo detach rack 2009 and up. (it worked on my 2008, just bent the key 90°)
Any of you guys that use this setup use a lock of any kind?
I have a 2015 Road Glide and both solo and 2-up tour pack racks.
I see Brukus has a locking bullet.

Thanks in advance

I use the lock on my solo T Pak rack on my 09 FLHP. Yes it did say that it wouldn't work but I ended up taking the key barrel off of its shaft so that I could unlock it:

If I can find the photo showing this installed I will add it...EDIT...here is a photo showing locked position:

Sitting between the solo rack and the bottom of the T Pack is the Kury T Pak relocator.

Edit: Since I had to take off the T Pak yesterday, here is a shot with the key inserted:

I believe HD changed the PNs in the 2014 model year for all of the 2 and 4-point docking equipment so I don't know if this will work on your ride.

I went with the Brukus bullet. The set of two cost less, fits all of my detach accessories and I don't have to carry another fob on my key ring.

I've been using a short cable and padlock run through the rack and around the shock mounting post when I feel I need to lock it. The Brukus Bullet looks like a lot less aggravation.

I have the solo setup that I only use once in a while
I have never felt the need to lock it because it is so freakin hard to attach and disattach. I need to use a plastic deadblow hammer to rotate the cam locks.
