Default Road Glide wind deflectors, must or not?

Hi, I have a 13' Road Glide. Do the wind deflectors help at all, or is it a waste? Thanks, Jason

Are you asking about the crash bar mounted one?

I have both the tripple tree and the crash bar ones. I will say they do make a difference with the air coming from below.

Yep, they mount from the crash bars to the fuel tank bolt. Seems to me like they wouldn't do much being that low and kinda hidden.

The ones on our Roadie look like paddles sitting between the tank and fairing clipping to crash bar, came with the bike but separate as a gift from from the dealer, rode it home without then installed and world of difference for tank air.

They make a big difference.

Also, if you're bored and dont know what to do with $20, add these. Not sure if it works, but its on my bike, and I dont have any buffeting problem.

That said, I ride an Ultra - lowers make a *huge* difference.

The other miracle product is a Madstad windshield. People who have one swear they are amazing. I have no doubt, but I also dont have a problem, so I can save my cash.

For some reason my 2012 CVO SG came with them. Yes they make a big difference for me. I use them in the cooler or cold riding. I take them off in the summer. On the SG they block too much air and the engine generates more heat.
Getting stuck at a long red light the engine heats and when you start moving not enough air passes to get the heat down. Not to bad if your moving.

THAT is a big Road Glide!

I ran the engine guard deflectors on my '11, they truly work.
