SE-585 vs SE-259E camshaft

I was at the dealer today because I wrecked my new SGS on my way to Daytona Friday and I had to order my repair estimate stuff. :-( Anyway, there was a 2013 RG there with a SE ventilator AC, V&H pro pipe chrome, and stage IV kit with the 585 cam swapped in instead of the 259E. Tuned with the SEPST it made 108 HP and 116 ftlbs. The curve looked really good. It got above 100 lbs at 2500 RPMs and never dropped back below that mark until redline.

Any new info on this Stage 3 with the SE585 cam and a full new exhaust and intake set up?
i am considering this asap, and sure am curious what results and info people have received.
I have a new 2015 Road Glide Special.
I anticipate the Stage 3 with the pro-tuner, VH powerduals and High Output slipping, and the HD Heavy Breather.
Pretty standard set up, I hope someone has done this already??
My fear is that the dealer and the HD parts will be limited in as far as they can go, and that go doing a local indy for the same money could get better results because he is not limited by dealer limitations.
I am in CA, but can get the full pipe system taken care of, and the dealer will tune accordingly if the bike comes in with the pipes already on.
Thanks

Wow. But, this bike had heads too, so I will not have that.
But I decided today to do the Stage 3, SE 585 cams, pistons, and the SE Pro tuner. After asking my local indy, he said that this package, from the dealer, would be very comparable to what he would do part by part, and that getting the warranty with it on my new bike is worth it. So, I am going for it.
I'll let ya'll know how it goes. Having a lot of stuff done at the same time (paint work, stereo, trim..) so I'll be back in a few weeks with an update...
Sadly, I don't think I will have a dyno with #s for this. Dealer does not dyno. May take to indy another day for the dyno if I care to.
Thanks

Videos are great !
Any chance you can find one that is a new 103 with the 585 cam, stage 3, set up?
You seem to know where to find these !
Thanks for this. Great to watch, and inspiring too.
I had a 110, added a 574 Fueling Reaper Cam and VH power duals, HD Heavy Breather and dyno. I loved the power.
I am very curious to see how the 103 with a stage 3 and the same VH pipes and heavy breather intake will compare...
I will let you you all know...

The SE585 and the Andrews 57 have very similar duration and timing numbers with the 585 having .025" more lift. the SE259 has way more duration and higher Lobe Separation ANgle. On Stock head builds all three would have similar numbers above 3000 with the 259 probably winning by small numbers. The Andrews and 585 would definitely win below 3000. Do head work and compression bump and the 259 would win that match up. Not sure why it has the .585 lift and not .555 or less for stock heads. It should be a great upgrade to the CVO 110 with larger valves and better flow.
