On my 2014 FLHTCU I am installing a Kuryakan Hyper Charger, SE street cannons, and have removed the cat from my stock headers. I have purchased a Commander V and would like opinions on if this PCV is actually needed for the set up. With just the SE slip ons installed, I get deceleration backfire often and would think that it would get worse with the hypercharger.
Every Hypercharger I've ever seen had the plate stuck in the open position. That said, if you change the air cleaner and swap to high flow mufflers, then yes you need a tuner such as yours.
When I did my 2014 SGS I used a power commander V, rush headers and rush big Louie's mufflers, The power commander V was pre programmed, It worked but at de celebration I had back fire, I had it dyno tuned lots better
Hypercharger may be the only aftermarket air cleaner that does not increase air flow?? But yes a proper tune is needed. Povervision/tts are much better choices than PCV on your '14.

Welcome to HDF. We have a Sticky in the Tech Ignition section on this subject that is well worth a read, entitled 'Why EFI Vehicles Need To Be Tuned '. I personally won't own and ride a bike, EFI or carb, without making suitable adjustments to compensate for mods of the sort you are talking of. I also wouldn't use a hyper-charger!
