You will need 3 things to accomplish that. Power, and lots of it, speakers that can handle this power, and last but not least a graphic or parametric equalizer that can accentuate or de-emphasize the audio curve as you like it. Travelling over a few mph out in the open air will guarantee that it won't matter which deck/head/CD/or MP3 player you use, as you'll never be able to discern the audio nuances between them with all that extraneous noise around you. Sink your money into the amps and speakers.

I'm about $1,000 into a Biketronics set up that I didn't think I needed until I started reading in the Audio section! (And that is just the front, going to have another $1500ish into the saddlebags next winter!)

Why when you're going to get all kinds of "outside/road" noise? Bike's aren't like home or cage environments where you don't have so much exterior distortion. Your ca$h is better spent on other upgrades...JMO. To each their own, but I prefer the sounds of the road over my audio.
I listen to a bit of music but mostly the radio is off.
