I have a question for those of you who have gone with Apes on the Street Glide,I traded my 2009 Dyna in on a 2015 SGS 2 months age cause I ride year round and wanted something to keep the wind off me, I live in Washington State and ride alot in 30-40 degree temps.I was very happy with the comfort factor of my 16" Carlini's and now like very much how much warmer I am on my SGS. I say all that to ask does putting the grips above the fairing affect how warm your hands stay or does the arodynamics of the fairing push the air up past your hands?

I'm in Washington too. Anything over 10" on the SG is going to put your hands up where the wind and bugs are. For me, it's better than slouching over to grab the stock bars while my hands constantly fall asleep.

I considered Yaffe's but between the price & backlog order delay? I changed my mind and I'm going with LA CHopper Twin Peak 14" Just waiting for the parts to arrive at the shop & will get the job done. A perfect fit for me. Also cheaper.

I hear ya. I refuse to wait that long for a part when there's other choices that are damn near the same. I found mine on Ebay or else I would have went elsewhere too.

Personally I wouldn't give Yaffee a dime of their overpriced products, going on their name alone. Had 12" KST Mayhem bars and okay but a bit too much wrist angle for me. Now have 13" Reaper bars going on and pretty sure I will be pretty happy. Both bars nearly half the price of Yaffee as many others.
