Default Installed my Mean City Cycles seat--Wow!

Just another thread to sing the praises of Mean City Cycles. I have a 2004 EG with the factory seat (it does have the removable driver's backrest option too), I did the double decker memory foam mod (I'm 6' at 260lbs). I had them reshape the sides, go down and back 1" and add the tailbone relief panel. What a huge difference in the ride. I took it out for a short trip last night after I installed the seat. Only about 15 miles, but I could tell I was sitting "in" the bike more than on top of it. I was already flat footed before but the extra inch down and shaped sides made a huge difference on the feel at a stop. Just wanted you guys to know. If you are on the fence about this mod like I was.....just do it. Best $165 I have spent on the bike!!!!

Which bike do you have? You had them redo the stock seat, or an aftermarket seat?

I know, right? Went down an inch and back an inch on my Ultra LOW, no more seat hunting for me, found it.

Great job on my seat too.
Memory foam and super narrow fixed me up.
Great people to deal with.

Super narrow and memory foam here also, very satisfied. At 5'7 1/2" 30" inseam with the seat lower and 12" shocks can flat foot real well.

I've really considered this as opposed to getting taller bars.. It's a hell of alot cheaper to drop my seat an inch lol

My two up ultra seat is there now waiting on my 9 Feb appt. The seat comfort didn't bother me as it was, just didn't like how it sat me on the bike. Going down 1 1/2, back 1, and narrow. Adding memory foam for me and the OL as well. Hopefully I'll be sitting on it more like my Stock Street Glide seat sits me.

Wonder if anyone has had MC do their Corbin?Corbin seems a little proud of their prices for redoing.
