Installed the HD kit on my 09 FLHX...they're a great way to add illumination to the front of bike. The install's kinda tricky (HD's guides are developed by monkeys), but if you know wiring...not too bad. Get them!

This is what I'm running too. I picked the SG over the other EG models due to the cleaner look. You'll go broke adding EG equipment to your SG.

If you ride at night, I say get 'em. If you have LED lighting, they're even more impressive.

I think your son says yes, and I think he's pretty smart. He knows the SG is gonna be a hand-me-down in a few years.

I had them on my 2010 Street Glide, and now have them on my 2015 SGS. I think they look sharp and throw a lot of light. Can't get enough lighting here in whitetail country.

agree with what has been said. i bought my SG with them installed. i would not have bought them but i can definitely tell a difference turning them on and off at night. to be seen is to be safe. i want to take them off but i cant bring myself to do it.

I like them because of the extra light. Especially, when you have led's paired with CD's Dynamic Ringz. My lamps are Phase 7's. Granted my bike came with the passing lamps. If I didn't have them I would just add the Dynamic Ringz.

I put them on my 13 SG. I wanted more light so cagers hopefully see me coming. I don't ride much at night because of the deer, done hit two in my car. So I got them for function over style.

I like the cleanness of SG, but spots do go well with the batwing imho and they throw very useful light for night riding. The triglide/cvo setup with bullets and no bar look much better than the bar and lollypops. I like them.

I have the dynamic rings with the Auxiliary, with the auxiliary lights off those dynamic rings really don't give you an advantage of any extra light at night. They will make you more visible but if your driving back country highways at night like me, you'll want those auxiliary lights because they give you the spread to see what is on either side of the road like possums trying to ruin your day.

That is true.
