Anyone tried the Fulsac Sportpipe?
I was looking at 2-1-2 X-Pipes for my 14 Limited. Fulsac offers what they call the Sportpipe for $399 outright or $299 with exchange of your stock header. They completely remove the section where the Cat is and weld in a 15 degree X collector then ceramic coat the entire pipe. They say it producess within 1hp of there true X-pipe on most builds. They claim the X-pipe produces a 6 to 10hp increase over stock. The X-pipe is $479. So the Sport pipe saves $80 without exchange or $180 with exchange. Just wondering if anyone has tried one.

yep. i have one. they also weld on some brackets for the stock heatshields so that they go on easy and stay in place.
i've not had my bike dynoed so i can't tell you hard numbers, but otherwise, i am very happy with this pipe and would have no qualms recommending it to anyone, or buying it again.
because it's for all intents and purposes, a stock headpipe, installation was a breeze. all associated hardware and mufflers fit perfect without having to do anything 'creative'
