QTM who makes the motorcycle Brembo brakes now has a seal kit available, pn# 670-1006X for the HD Brembo Caliper. The same kit is used for front and rear, $49.95 ea. Sales contact is Tara Para (tara@qtmi.com)

thanks guys,I would love to change the pistons when I go that far, have a weep from 1 caliper and would be great to do the lot when I'm at it,the Drag Specialities kit had the pistons included for $42,its a pity they discontinued them, rebuilding those calipers should be getting common from now on as the years add up

Default Same Problem

I am working on the same problem. Cannot find a good source for the pistons. Let me know if you find something. I looked at QTM's website and they do not offer much information regarding rebuild kits. I have sent Tara an emial. We'll see what she relpies with.

Someone should take the o'rings, looks like a quad ring, a back up ring and a small o'ring to the local o'ring house such as Parker Hannifin and have them matched up. Be sure and tell them it's for brake fluid. Then publish the numbers for all to see. Anyone measure the piston diameter and width? I read some where Honda uses the same size Brembo stuff.

I have read that as well, in fact several brands of bike use similar calipers, just dressed differently to suit each brand's whims on appearance. Looks like Brembo has a universal caliper for all!

The link the "VZTS4Q just posted.....This is the QTM kit. They are the only ones that stock/sell the 2008 & newer seal kit. They dont offer the pistons. According to them(QTM), New replacement pistons do not exisit!!
