that sucks, living in ny makes HD's tire and wheel insurance a bargain!

Cannot really tell how deep this one is but I can say that the 16 incher swallowed up potholes that ate buddies with 21 spokes.

I was thinking the same.

The following comments are not intended to insult anyone's bike or riding choices, but...

What's the purpose of all these big dressers with itty-bitty front tires that look like they would be better served on a Sportster?

While at the same time we see Dynas and Sportsters with FAT front tires?

Seems to me the older 16" dresser front wheel and tire had a lot more "meat" on the tire to "absorb the road" and any hazards in it. And a bigger "footprint" for a better grip while braking (where something like 75% or so of the weight of the bike shifts to the front tire).

I guess they look snazzy, though....

At the minimum, I'd want a 17" front wheel like the Limiteds and Road Kings have...
