Default 2000 Road King - Easiest way to elimnate police controls

Hey guys. I am looking for the easiest and most cost effective way to eliminate to ugly red police siren / pursuit buttons on my Road King.

I have been looking on ebay to find a Civilian set, with no luck.

Is there any way to eliminate these without new housings? I guess I'm looking for someone who may have done this. Any help would be appreciated.

Keep looking on eBay for a used set, or pony up and buy a new set from HD, if ur doing that think about some new bars and run the wiring in the bars,

Pm me if u have any more questions about that Rk

I just did this on my 99 RK police. J&P cycle sell a pre wired switch kit and I picked up some stock switch housings on ebay for 20 dollars. It's super easy all you have to do is re-pin the connectors and bypass the clutch interlock switch. In all its about 100 dollars and the hardest part is running your wires inside the bars, which is totally worth it I might add

Those "ugly" additional switches can sure be useful for controlling other items like accent lights and such. I have seen some folks use plastic paint to cover the red.
