Across the lake in Northern Indiana I usually start mid-March after a soaking rain has washed the salt off the roads. I try to ride at least 1 once a month and I have this year although the short rides don't always justify the cleanup. January 1st was 0*F so the 7 mile trip to the frozen Buns Run on New years Day was short. 30 minutes of ride and 60 cleaning off the salt.

Looks like we will have sunny and 35-40 next week so should be on track for Mid-March break out.

N.E. KS is going to be in the 50's and 60's starting Friday. As long as the lows are 40 plus I will ride to work. Sure will be nice. Gotta watch out for the salt and sand though.

We've been fortunate up here in Washington. Sunny and in the high 50's/low 60's all week. One of the warmest winters on record for us. Been able to ride at least a day or two every month. Rode 4 times last week. Wishing a speedy spring for all of you that haven't been able to get out yet.

That, AND fix some of the chuck-holes we have in Cleveland!

I'll wait a bit until the roads are fixed, as well as salt free.

I'm still struggling looking out over 15 Foot snow piles merging onto the road in my car. I usually shoot for April 1st, however that isn't gonna happen this year. I feel this years riding season is going to be put off for at least three weeks or so at the best. I won't go out until several heavy rains have washed the salt off of the roadways. I'm patient however. No problem.
