Default I need some advice on finding Harley "Deep Purple" Custom Paint

2012 Streetglide - the Color is "Deep Purple"

My bike is at the shop to get the inner fairing painted.
My guy said he cannot match the color. He said he can get it close
but knowing how picky i am, he wont do it.

The paint is no longer available from Harley. (Why, I have no F'n Idea)

I found a PPG Paint code on the Forum #930848

What do I do now?

Go to the automotive paint and supply store and have them mix some up for you. If you don't have one nearby, a lot of Body shops mix their own paints these days.

I used to have a2000 EG with Sinister Blue pearl paint. Even with the actual Harley paint my guy had to remix it to get exact match. Had 3 other painters try with color matching and all were way off. Might be best to have someone who can take the time to spray test panels to get right match.

Ha, It was not a trick question....lol

I searched all over the net for PPG Paint suppliers around PA and NJ
and i was coming up empty handed. I even went through PPG Paint Website looking for where to but it, well that was a total waste of time.

I was using the wrong "keywords" to search.
Distributor was the correct keyword.

Found 1 place who has all the ingredients. Man what a PIA.
Anyhow glad i found it, $102 for 1/2 pint.

There was 1 "special" ingredient, a tint that hardly anybody has.
