I agree with most of what all these guys are saying. If you are torn between 10 and 12 or 12 and 14, Go with the taller bar. You will always regret not going taller if you go with the shorter of the 2.

Well said!!
I had 12" monkey bars on my street glide.
I went with 14' vindiktas on my road glide. 14's fit me well.

My brother in law put 12" mayhams on his road glide and wishes he would of done 14's. I tried to tell him....lol
His 12" mayhems are really only 10" grip height on the none batwing version.

Then he ordered 10s..like I stated before mayhems are measured from center of bar at bottom to center of grip.. My 14s are 14s..they are only taller if you measure to the wrong point.. Center of bar at clamp to top point is 16.i ordered 14s and got 14s.
Edit. Unless the non batwing are different.. Still makes no sense to have a measurement that extends beyond the center of grip

The only thing that will make a difference in what you are seeing in the pictures is this. I am 5'6" with short arms and when I got the 10 3/4" Mayhem Baggers I looked at pictures and they looked like what was going to be perfect, but when I got them mounted I had to pull them back so far that they actually will hit the gas tank in a hard left lock of the bars. The wrist angle is awesome but there isn't all that much pullback. That is why I am going with the 14's I want the height but I want the comfort of my hands being at or just below shoulder height, I have put my hands all over the place while riding to find where they should be and have come up with the 14's beings the one I need.
Oh yea I will have a set of 10 3/4" Mayhem Bagger Bars for sale in a couple of weeks.
