Has anybody put in a extra power point in their fairings. I have a 2013 road glide, with the power point on the left side thinking about putting one on the left.

you can do what ever you want.

if your added "powerpoint" is for an mp3 player, phone, gps etc. many of us use the Euro-spec position light wiring which is attached to the headlight loom the capped orange/wht is +, the blk is ground:




for higher current draw devices, it is easy to run power from the battery ...you need wire, a fuse and 10 minutes to pull the gas tank off.

I use this mounted on the Right side in about the same place the cig lighter is on the left side.

I put a double + USB in my tour pack, inline fuse off the battery
