I can tell you the man who tuned them is one who knows his stuff and plays no games. He used to have JD's Cycle Works, his name is Dave Stoddart.

Cool, not the tuner then. Something is not quite right. It would be interesting to know why it tuned so light. Did the tuner/shop install the cams? Could it be sumping holding it back? Dont know, just guessing....

Could be a stingy dyno, some of the DJ250's are more stingy than the older models. I had a build tuned on a old DJ150 and the same build run on a DJ250, the 150 gave the build 104/100 and the DJ250 only gave 98/96.

Man you guys are making me wonder whether it was worth the dough to get it done...

lol My apologies, miscommunication. I was still referring to the dyno sheet that was posted comparing the tts100 to 57's. The 57's run is WAY off. I am certain you are smiling with every twist of the throttle!!

Welp never mind on my previous sentiment...glad I got it done!
I took it out today and am so impressed! The throttle response is solid, definitely a seat of the pants difference. Honestly without being cliché it rides different...I mean involuntary smile when you go different. I hope I never get used to it.

Sweet!! Now I'm between just doing the tts 100 cams and lifters and cam chest kit or a FM 107 kit with stock heads. Not to derail the thread completely but would the 107 give a better ride (quicker acceleration) than the tts cams?

Not sure it's quite a fair comparison between a set of bolt in cams and a complete build...

Its all about money and what you want. If you currently have a pre-rushmore stock 103" then cams, a/c and mufflers (no problems using the stock header, decatted is best approach) will change the ride A LOT.

Yes, the FM 107" kit should provide more.

This was my stock 2014 103 stock with S&S stealth air cleaner, fullsac DX head pipe, Bazzani slip ons and a T100 cam. The baseline was identical but with an Andrews 54 cam. Tuned by the same man on the same dyno
