Default Heat or no Heat

I'm thinking about buying a new corbin touring seat for my 2011 road glide and would like to hear opinions from those who have them whether or not adding heat is worth the extra money. I don't ride much below 55 degrees.
Also, I have the HD passenger grab rails; anyone know if they are compatible with corbins? Thanks in advance.

I'll ride down to 40 degrees and my butt doesn't get cold - my hands do though... save the money for heated grips.

If your open to other brands over Corbin. Dennis Kirk has one Saddlemen Explorer special heated seat left in clearance that fits your model.

I've never had a heated seat, but I ride with friends who do and they say that once you have heat, you will never go without it again.

It all depends on how much you will be riding in cool or cold weather.

I have both a heated seat and heated grips and both are nice.

However, I also have heated gloves and a heated jacket liner and if I had to decide between these options, I'd go with the heated gloves and jacket liner.

If you don't wear chaps you will obviously get more benefit from a heated seat, but even with them the heat is very comforting.

I wear full leather pants (over my jeans) so the benefit of the heated seat is less noticeable for me but I can still feel it.

Overall, my suggestion would be buying heated gloves, jacket liner and pants with a dual heat controller. You can hook the jacket/pants on one side of the controller and the gloves on the other side and you'll be "toasty" warm!
I have a power jack mounted onto my LH heat shield and I can plug my controller into it with the controller clipped onto the belt of my leather jacket.
All I will say is that I wish I had bought this gear decades ago!!

I had a heated classic solo on my 2008 RG which was very nice.
I ordered and just recently installed a heated classic solo on my 2015 RGS.
Its one of those "once you have one you will always want one" things, at least with me. Like heated grips and jacket liners... wouldn't be without em.

I like my heated Corbin. I don't use it all the time but when I need it I have it.

I ride my Corbin down to 28 or so degrees. Haven't found a need for a heated seat. After I sit on it for 10 minutes it's warm enough. Heated grips and heated jacket might be a better investment. I like mine.
