For the record my steed is a '08 RKC and I have a brand new set of 2014 hard bags in vivid black that are missing the hardware. The bags fit perfectly, however, the cost to purchase the hardware from the dealer is expensive. I'm not so sure if I want to pay the price just yet. So for now I have them boxed up...Just my .02

 

Yeah, $800 for the hardware from the stealership is ridiculous. I bought aftermarket hardware on Fleabay for half of that. There are a couple of companies making the kits but be careful, some are pretty poor quality. The take-off bags without hardware are plentiful thanks to everyone doing stretched bags.

Vivid black is a good color since they'll never phase it out. No color change expense. My scoot is Ember Red Sunglo, discontinued in 2013.

 

I purchased my bag latch hardware on eBay for less than 1/2 of what my local dealer wanted. Once I figured out how to install it ..works great....can't tell it from the H-D version.

 

 

RKC Rider, Maxx442 do you guys know the vender on ebay. I cant seem to find the guy. Thanks..
