I purchased a 3 pack of battery powered LED puck lights from Walmart for $6. Comes with with double sided tape. Nice and bright at night. They are about 1/2 inch thick. Inexpensive way to add light without having to hardwire.

these - they are made to mount on bottom of tourpak and shine light into bag when open. they wire in with quick disconnects. I'm sure you can mount inside bag and drill hole with rubber grommet for wireing.

They're nice - especially on the CVO Limited were they come on automatically when the bike is shutdown & then go off after like 5 minutes. These have a switch to turn them on & off, but I think they go off automatically after a while too.

Thanks,
I connected them to the saddlebag running lights, so they are on when the bike starts up. They stay on. Never thought about them being on all the time. I think the lights cost $9.00, wiring and my labor....thats it!

I use one of the Harbor Freight 27 LED lights. Can also be used should I need to work on the bike on the side of the road at night. http://www.harborfreight.com/27-led-...ght-67227.html

^ that's what I use. I rarely need it but it does come in handy at times. I have Velcro on the back and one in the trunk lid to hold it plus it has 2 sets if hooks, one on the end and one on the back. It also has a magnet on the back.
I also keep 2 small LCD flash lights for emergency.
I don't see spending much or adding extra lighting when it is rarely needed.
